Analysis of Multi-Server Priority Queueing System with Hysteresis Strategy of Server Reservation and Retrials

open access: yesMathematics, 2022
A multi-server queueing system with two types of requests and preemptive priority of one type is considered as a model of a cell of a cognitive radio system under practical suggestions about the arrival flows. A hysteresis type strategy for server reservation is suggested to mitigate the effect of interruption of service of low priority requests. Under

Analysis of Interconnected Arrivals on Queueing-Inventory System with Two Multi-Server Service Channels and One Retrial Facility [PDF]

open access: yesElectronics, 2021
Present-day queuing inventory systems (QIS) do not utilize two multi-server service channels. We proposed two multi-server service channels referred to as T1S (Type 1 n-identical multi-server) and T2S (Type 2 m-identical multi-server). It includes an optional interconnected service connection between T1S and T2S, which has a finite queue of size N.

An Efficient Method to Compute the Rate Matrix for Multi-Server Retrial Queues with Cloud Computing Systems

open access: yesInternational journal of Computer Networks & Communications, 2023
This study presents the usage of retrial queues with cloud computing systems in which the operating unit (the server) and the storing unit (buffer) are independently considered. In fact, the tasks cannot occupy the server to the system. Instead, they are stored in the buffer and sent back to the server after a random time.
