Constructing Robust Covalent Organic Frameworks via Multicomponent Reactions.

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2019
Methodology development of robust linkages is fundamentally important for the synthesis and application of covalent organic frameworks (COFs). We report herein a new strategy based on multicomponent reactions (MCRs) to construct ultrastable COFs.

Multicomponent Reactions for Surface Modification

Macromolecular Rapid Communications, 2018
AbstractModification of material surfaces with polymers is an effective method to develop applicable polymer–material composites. Recently, multicomponent reactions (MCRs) have found their roles in advanced polymer chemistry and applied in surface modification.

multicomponent reactions

Catalysis from A to Z, 2020
A practical approach to highly functionalized 4-hydroxypyridine derivatives with stereogenic side chains in the 2and 6-positions is described. The presented two-step process utilizes a multicomponent reaction of alkoxyallenes, nitriles and carboxylic ...

Borylated reagents for multicomponent reactions

Drug Discovery Today: Technologies, 2018
Over the past two decades, there has been an increasing interest in the therapeutic potential of organoboron reagents due to the discovery of bortezomib (Velcade). This has motivated synthetic chemists to develop novel routes for the preparation of heteroatom-rich boron-containing molecules (BCMs).

Consecutive multicomponent reactions for the synthesis of complex molecules.

Organic and biomolecular chemistry, 2019
Multicomponent reactions (MCRs) involving a minimum of three reactants or reaction centers are conducted in one pot and with a single operational step. This synthetic method has a good pot, atom and step economy in the preparation of diverse and complex ...

Multicomponent Reactions Are Accelerated in Water

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2003
Two multicomponent reactions, the Ugi and Passerini reactions, are accelerated by the use of aqueous solutions. The rate enhancements compared to those by organic solvents can approach 300-fold. Reactions performed in water offer another advantage that products are often insoluble, permitting direct isolation by precipitation.
