We denote by ${\mbox{\boldmath $QSL$}}_3$ the family of quadratic differential systems possessing invariant straight lines, finite and infinite, of total multiplicity exactly three. In a sequence of papers the complete study of quadratic systems with invariant lines of total multiplicity at least four was achieved.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

A spool for every quotient: One-loop partition functions in AdS$_3$ gravity
The Wilson spool is a prescription for expressing one-loop determinants as topological line operators in three-dimensional gravity. We extend this program to describe massive spinning fields on all smooth, cusp-free, solutions of Euclidean gravity with a

Power Counting and Modes in SCET
We present a formulation of soft-collinear effective theory (SCET) in the two-jet sector as a theory of decoupled sectors of QCD coupled to Wilson lines.

The authors prove a classification theorem for real planar cubic vector fields which possess four distinct infinite singularities and eight invariant straight lines including the line at infinity and including their multiplicities. This classification is given in terms of invariant polynomials. The algebraic invariants and comitants allow to verify for
