Fractional Sobolev spaces on Riemannian manifolds. [PDF]
This article studies the canonical Hilbert energy $H^{s/2}(M)$ on a Riemannian manifold for $s\in(0,2)$, with particular focus on the case of closed manifolds.

Iterated period integrals and multiple Hecke L-functions [PDF]
In this paper we express the multiple Hecke $L$-function in terms of a linear combination of iterated period integrals associated with elliptic cusp forms, which is introduced by Manin around 2004. This expression generalizes the classical formula of Hecke $L$-function obtained by the Mellin transformation of a cusp form.

Path integral for quantum Mabuchi K-energy
International audienceWe construct a path integral based on the coupling of the Liouville action and the Mabuchi K-energy on a one-dimensional complex manifold.

Multiple scattering and functional integrals [PDF]
A functional integral method for performing the statistical averages implicit in problems involving multiple scattering is developed. The scattering fields in a noncrystalline medium are represented as a fixed set of fields for each incident particle, but are assumed to vary randomly from one particle in the beam to the next.

Multiple integrals of Lipschitz functions in the calculus of variations [PDF]
We consider a multiple integral problem in the calculus of variations in which the integrand is locally Lipschitz but not differentiable, and in which minimization takes place over a Sobolev space. Using a minimax theorem, we derive an analogue of the classical Euler condition for optimality, couched in terms of “generalized gradients".

Multitime hybrid differential games with multiple integral functional [PDF]
A multiple integral functional is equivalent to a curvilinear integral functional, if the domain is a hyper-parallelepiped, but equivalence is only theoretical. The introduction of this kind of functionals in multitime optimal control problems, particularly in multitime differential games, is due to recent works of Udriste research group.

Integrating Multiple Interaction Networks for Gene Function Inference [PDF]
In the past few decades, the number and variety of genomic and proteomic data available have increased dramatically. Molecular or functional interaction networks are usually constructed according to high-throughput data and the topological structure of these interaction networks provide a wealth of information for inferring the function of genes or ...

Promoting return of function in multiple sclerosis: An integrated approach [PDF]
Multiple sclerosis is a disease characterized by inflammatory demyelination, axonal degeneration and progressive brain atrophy. Most of the currently available disease modifying agents proved to be very effective in managing the relapse rate, however progressive neuronal damage continues to occur and leads to progressive accumulation of irreversible ...

Multiplicative functionals on ensembles of non-intersecting paths
The purpose of this article is to develop a theory behind the occurrence of “path-integral” kernels in the study of extended determinantal point processes and non-intersecting line ensembles. Our first result shows how determinants involving such kernels
