Multiple valued functions and integral currents
We prove several results on Almgren's multiple valued functions and their links to integral currents. In particular, we give a simple proof of the fact that a Lipschitz multiple valued map naturally defines an integer rectifiable current; we derive explicit formulae for the boundary, the mass and the first variations along certain specific vector ...

A type of multiple integral with log-gamma function [PDF]
In this paper, we study the multiple integral $ \displaystyle I= \int_0^1 \int_0^1 \dots \int_0^1 f(x_1+x_2 + \dots +x_n) \, dx_1 \, dx_2 \, \dots \, dx_n$. A general formula of $I$ is presented. As an application, the integral $I$ with $f(x)= \log (x)$ is evaluated.

Integrating multiple plant functional traits to predict ecosystem productivity
AbstractQuantifying and predicting variation in gross primary productivity (GPP) is important for accurate assessment of the ecosystem carbon budget under global change. Scaling traits to community scales for predicting ecosystem functions (i.e., GPP) remain challenging, while it is promising and well appreciated with the rapid development of trait ...

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

A Lindenstrauss theorem for some classes of multilinear mappings [PDF]
Under some natural hypotheses, we show that if a multilinear mapping belongs to some Banach multlinear ideal, then it can be approximated by multilinear mappings belonging to the same ideal whose Arens extensions simultaneously attain their norms.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

The quasi-invariance property for the Gamma kernel determinantal measure [PDF]
The Gamma kernel is a projection kernel of the form (A(x)B(y)-B(x)A(y))/(x-y), where A and B are certain functions on the one-dimensional lattice expressed through Euler's Gamma function.

The Multiple Gamma-Functions and the Log-Gamma Integrals [PDF]
In this paper, which is a companion paper to [W], starting from the Euler integral which appears in a generalization of Jensen’s formula, we shall give a closed form for the integral of log . This enables us to locate the genesis of two new functions and considered by Srivastava and Choi. We consider the closely related functionA(a)and the Hurwitz zeta
