Recursive Algorithms for Multivariable Output-Error-Like ARMA Systems

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
This paper studies the parameter identification problems for multivariable output-error-like systems with colored noises. Based on the hierarchical identification principle, the original system is decomposed into several subsystems.

FUZZY CONTROL FOR MULTIVARIABLE SYSTEMS

open access: yesIFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1983
Abstract In this paper a fuzzy control algorithm for regulator control of multivariable systems based on a state space model of the system is introduced. Its application to several linear systems is illustrated and compared with systems controlled by means of linear feedback laws as obtained via an INA-design or linear output feedback.

Maximally Robust Controllers for Multivariable Systems [PDF]

open access: yesSIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, 2000
The problem of designing an internal stabilizing controller \(K\) which stabilizes \(G\) and \(G+\Delta\) for all \(\Delta\)'s with \(\|\Delta\|< r\) is a deeply studied problem, and it is well known how to design \(K\) and what is the largest radius \(r\). The authors show that there is a worst case direction in the maximal ball of uncertainties, i.e.,

Phase Transition of Multivariate Polynomial Systems [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Structures in Computer Science, 2007
A random multivariate polynomial system with more equations than variables is likely to be unsolvable. On the other hand, if there are more variables than equations, the system has at least one solution with high probability. In this paper we study in detail the phase transition between these two regimes, which occurs when the number of equations ...

Real-Time Experimental Benchmarking of Control Strategies for a Coupled 2-DOF Helicopter

open access: yesEng
This paper presents a real-time experimental comparison of four control strategies—PID, Fractional-Order PID (FOPID), Fuzzy PID/PD, and Model-Free Control (MFC)—applied to trajectory tracking of a coupled 2-DOF Quanser Aero 2 helicopter.

Analytical Multiloop Control for Multivariable Systems with Time Delays

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
In this paper, a new design method with performance improvements of multiloop controllers for multivariable systems is proposed. Precise expression is developed to show the relationship between the dynamic- and steady-state characteristics of the ...

A Modified LQG Algorithm (MLQG) for Robust Control of Nonlinear Multivariable Systems [PDF]

open access: yesModeling, Identification and Control, 1993
The original LQG algorithm is often characterized for its lack of robustness. This is because in the design of the estimator (Kalman filter) the process disturbance is assumed to be white noise. If the estimator is to give good estimates, the Kalman gain

Time Toxicity in Wilms Tumor: Quantifying the Burden of Healthcare Interaction in the First Year After Diagnosis

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Wilms tumor (WT) treatment imposes a significant time burden on patients and their families. Time toxicity is a patient‐centered metric that quantifies the burden of healthcare interaction. We sought to define time toxicity in the first year after diagnosis of WT and hypothesized that it would increase as tumor stage and treatment ...

Optimal Control of Nonlinear Multivariable Systems [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, 2009
This paper concerns a study on the optimal control for nonlinear systems. An appropriate alternative in order to alleviate the nonlinearity of a system is the exact linearization approach.

Fixed‐time stability of stochastic nonlinear systems and its application into stochastic multi‐agent systems

open access: yesIET Control Theory & Applications, 2021
The paper devotes to study fixed‐time stability of stochastic nonlinear systems and fixed‐time consensus of stochastic multi‐agent systems (SMASs). Firstly, a new fixed‐time stability theorem is established and a high‐precise estimation of settling time ...
