Imidacloprid Alters Activity and Responses to a Visual Predator Stimulus in Aussie Bronze Jumping Spiders (Helpis minitabunda, Araneae, Salticidae)

A field‐recommended concentration of a commercial imidacloprid formulation reduced open arena activity and slowed climbing in the jumping spider Helpis minitabunda. Exposed spiders still detected a looming predator stimulus, but their responses were reduced.

Caffeylpyruvate hydrolase from the bioluminescent fungus Neonothopanus gardneri is the key recycling enzyme in the fungal bioluminescence pathway

Caffeic acid is a central metabolite in the fungal bioluminescence pathway. We identified and characterized caffeylpyruvate hydrolase from Neonothopanus gardneri (ngarCPH) and demonstrate its ability to hydrolyze fungal oxyluciferin into caffeic and pyruvic acids, confirming a complete and self‐sustained fungal bioluminescence cycle.

Real‐world evidence for the efficacy and tolerability of an isobutylamido‐thiazolyl‐resorcinol (Thiamidol)‐containing skincare regimen on facial hyperpigmentation and overall skin appearance: A multi‐centre study in 11 European countries

A Thiamidol‐containing skincare regimen showed significant improvement in facial hyperpigmentation in a real‐world study across 11 European countries. The treatment led to a significant reduction in mMASI scores, enhanced overall skin condition and demonstrated high tolerability.

ABSTRACT This qualitative study explores how second language (L2) learners negotiate meaning and co‐construct knowledge with generative AI (GenAI) in a 12‐week multimodal creative writing project. Chinese middle school students (N = 75) created English picture books using a conversational GenAI agent supporting textual and text‐to‐image generation.
