Natural Frequencies of Uniform Grillages

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mechanics, 1963
The natural frequencies for the transverse vibration of grillages with various types of boundary conditions are studied, taking into account the distributed mass of the beams. Finite-difference calculus is used for deriving the frequency equations.

The natural frequencies of grillages

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mechanical Sciences, 1968
Abstract This paper presents a method for the determination of the natural frequencies of grillages, which may be skew. It could be used, for example, to find the natural frequencies of a skew road bridge, within the limits of any assumptions taken. The cross girders are assumed to be simply supported between the longitudinals which themselves may be

Calculation Method for Natural Frequencies of Stator of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors Based on Three-Dimensional Elastic Theory

IEEE transactions on energy conversion, 2021
The variable-speed permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) have high harmonic contents in the current and wide variable speed range, which results in a wide frequency range of electromagnetic force waves and their frequencies change with the speed ...

Modal testing and evaluation of cracks on cantilever beam using mode shape curvatures and natural frequencies

, 2021
This paper presented the process of implementing and developing a novel damage detection approach on beam like-structure using modal parameters. In Theoretical Modal Testing (TMT), the mode shapes, mode shape curvatures and natural frequencies were ...

Non-trivial equilibriums and natural frequencies of a slightly curved pipe conveying supercritical fluid

, 2021
Despite extensive use of curved pipes conveying high-speed fluids in many engineering fields, few researches have been conducted on the supercritical dynamics of curved pipes to explore new dynamic behavior.

Numerical study on the influence of acoustic natural frequencies on the dynamic behaviour of submerged and confined disk-like structures

open access: yesJournal of Fluids and Structures, 2017
The dynamic response of disks has been deeply studied in the last years given that their dynamic characteristics present similarities with more complex disk-like structures used in real engineering applications, such as hydraulic turbine runners. Because
