Temperature and frequency dependence of a.c. conductivities in a neodymium nitrate crystal

Abstract The temperature and frequency dependence of a.c. conductivities in a neodymium nitrate has been measured to study the electric properties of the rare earth compound. The anomalous behaviours of the conductivities have been observed in the temperature range from 10 to −45°C.

Abstract The paramagnetic relaxation time of Nd 2 Mg 3 (NO 3 ) 12 . 24H 2 O has been measured at temperatures around 2°K and in fields between 0.3 and 3 tesla, both direct process and phonon bottleneck are observed.

Proton spin-lattice relaxation in lanthanum magnesium nitrate containing different concentrations of neodymium has been studied using dynamic nuclear polarization at helium temperatures.
