Electron Capture and Ionisation in Collisions of Ne10+ and Li3+ with Atomic Hydrogen

open access: yesAtoms, 2022
The two-center wave-packet convergent close-coupling method has been applied to model the processes of electron capture and ionisation in collisions of fully stripped neon and lithium ions with atomic hydrogen at projectile energies from 1 keV/u to 1 MeV/

Statistical analysis plans for two randomised controlled trials of the Narrative Experiences Online (NEON) Intervention: impact of receiving recorded mental health recovery narratives on quality of life in people experiencing psychosis (NEON) and people experiencing non-psychosis mental health problems (NEON-O)

open access: yesTrials, 2023
Background Mental health recovery narratives are a first-hand account of an individual’s recovery from mental health distress, access to narratives can aid recovery.

Impact of receiving recorded mental health recovery narratives on quality of life in people experiencing psychosis, people experiencing other mental health problems and for informal carers: Narrative Experiences Online (NEON) study protocol for three randomised controlled trials

open access: yesTrials, 2020
Background Mental health recovery narratives have been defined as first-person lived experience accounts of recovery from mental health problems which refer to events or actions over a period of time and which include elements of adversity or struggle ...

A new genus of neonine jumping spiders (Araneae: Salticidae: Neonini) from Australia.

open access: yesRecords of the Australian Museum
The Neonini is a tribe of small (1–5 mm) jumping spiders found in the Holarctic, East Asia and Australasia. They are very common in Australia where they make up the smallest sized salticids in the litter fauna.

Runaway electrons during subnanosecond breakdowns in high-pressure gases

open access: yesHigh Voltage, 2016
The parameters of runaway electrons produced in nanosecond high-voltage discharges in different gases (air, nitrogen, sulphur hexafluoride, krypton, argon, methane, neon, hydrogen, helium) at atmospheric and higher pressure were studied.

The Spark Spectrum of Neon [PDF]

open access: yesNature, 1928
BY the use of a vacuum spectrograph, in which the spectrum was excited by electron impacts at controlled voltages between a Wehnelt cathode and a wire grid anode, we have discovered a new series of lines of considerably shorter wave-length than any hitherto reported for neon. There are 15 of these lines between wave-lengths 462·38 and 353·01. They show
