Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

No evidence for oncogenic mutations in guanine nucleotide-binding proteins of human adrenocortical neoplasms [PDF]
G-Proteins are membrane-bound heterotrimeric polypeptides that couple receptor signals to second messenger systems such as cAMP. Recently, point mutations at 2 codons of the highly preserved alpha-chain of Gs, the adenyl cyclase-stimulating G-protein ...

Nested polymerase chain reaction and in situ hybridization for detection of nucleopolyhedrosis [PDF]
A nested polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and in situ hybridization were developed for detection of baculoviruses in insects or other arthropods with nucleopolyhedrosis. The nested PCR was based on the sequences of polyhedrin genes from baculoviruses.

White spot syndrome virus (WSSV) transmission risk through infected cooked shrimp products assessed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and bio-inoculation studies [PDF]
The aim of the study was to evaluate the resistance of white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) in shrimps (Penaeus monodon) to the process of cooking. The cooking was carried out at 1000C six different durations 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 min.
