Energetic Characterization of Bound Moisture in Faecal Sludges
In fecal sludges (FSs) from non-sewered sanitation systems, bound moisture constituted 46–67% of total moisture across all sanitation types investigated, yet the energetic basis for its resistance to removal has not previously been characterized ...

Applied Design Strategies for MOFs in CO2 Capture: Balancing Stability, Selectivity, and Scalability
Applied design strategies for MOFs enable efficient CO2 capture by balancing structural stability, gas selectivity, and industrial scalability. These approaches enhance gas selectivity and adsorption capacity while maintaining thermal, chemical, and hydrolytic stability, allowing for energy‐efficient regeneration and cost‐effective scalability in ...

A general and green approach of pH‐sensitive ZIF‐67 for encapsulating active substances
Zeolitic imidazolate framework‐67 (ZIF‐67) was successfully synthesized in deionized water for 2 h in this work; meanwhile, various active substances could be encapsulated in one‐pot with the same process, resulting in high loading rates. The study delved into the growth mechanism, morphological difference and loading capacity.

Effect of sodium chloride, sodium nitrite and temperature on desorption isotherms of previously frozen beef [PDF]
Moisture desorption isotherms of beef were determined in the relative humidity range of 23 to 90% at 5, 15 and 25 degrees C and at 2.5% NaCl and 2.5% NaCl + 150 ppm NaNO2 content. Desorption isotherms were found to be typical type II sigmoid.

2‐Aryl(alkyl)benzimidazole hydroxamic acids (11‐16) are potent and selective HDAC6 inhibitors, with minimal activity against HDAC1/2, and also display anti‐angiogenic and anticancer activities. Compound 13 exhibited a GI50 of 3.9 μM against EPCs and inhibited the growth of HCT‐116, SK‐Hep‐1, and PC‐3 cells with GI50 values of 1.3, 4.2, and 7.5 μM ...

Determination of The Isoteric Heat To Plantain Pulp (musa paradisiaca) By Sorption Isotherms [PDF]
For sorptional data to be useful in simulation and design of storage and drying systems, they must be represented by equations valid in the conditions usually found in industrial practice.

Adsorption Isotherms for Red Onion Slices Using Empirical and Neural Network Models [PDF]
Moisture sorption isotherms of red onion slices were determined at 30, 40, 50, and 60°C using the standard gravimetric static method over a range of relative humidity from 0.11 to 0.83.

Moisture sorption and thermodynamic properties of safflower petals and tarragon [PDF]
Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius) petals and tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus) are common aromatic and medicinal herbs with centuries of use. Moisture sorption characteristics of safflower petals and tarragon and need to be evaluated since these plants are
