Prevention of Neural Tube Defects in Ireland
Neural tube defects (NTDs) are a group of serious congenital malformations, including encephalocoele and spina bifida (SB) which are associated with failure of closure of the neural tube during early embryonic development.

Metal‐free carbon catalysts enable the sustainable synthesis of hydrogen peroxide via two‐electron oxygen reduction; however, active site complexity continues to hinder reliable interpretation. This review critiques correlation‐based approaches and highlights the importance of orthogonal experimental designs, standardized catalyst passports ...

Soft Skins With Reversible Thickness Morphing: Materials, Mechanisms, and Applications
Evolution of electronic skin (e‐skin) technologies toward adaptive, multifunctional soft skins. Phase I highlights early rigid and discrete sensory interfaces. Phase II shows the transition toward flexible, stretchable, and large‐area e‐skin. Phase III captures the emergence of computational e‐skin.

We present SCIENCE, an in‐ear multimodal physiological monitor featuring two key innovations. Water‐triggered morphological expansion (a 2‐mm cylinder to a 9‐mm spindle) achieves conformal adaptation across complex canal geometries. Simultaneously, active biofouling mitigation disrupts cerumen barriers, reducing sensor‐skin impedance by 20%.

Double site neural tube defects: report of two cases
Introduction Multiple-site neural tube defect is a congenital defect at two or more locations along the neural axis. Double-site neural defects are very rare, having a normal segment between two neural tube defects, and are different from complex spinal ...
