Regulatory harmonization: Evolution, globalization and future directions
Regulatory harmonization has become an increasingly important and accepted approach to streamline regulatory review processes and expedite access to safe, effective and high‐quality medicines globally. This review explores the evolution and current status of regulatory harmonization, convergence and reliance initiatives.

Role of SoxE transcription factors in development and disease
Abstract Sox8, Sox9, and Sox10 arose by multiple rounds of genome duplications from a single SoxE gene in ancestral vertebrates. In this review, we will briefly discuss the molecular structure and function of SoxE transcription factors and their evolutionary origin. We will then discuss their expression, function, and developmental disorders.

Reprogramming of the FOXA1 cistrome in treatment-emergent neuroendocrine prostate cancer
The molecular processes that lead to neuroendocrine prostate cancer after treating prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD) are not well understood. Here the authors show that regulation by FOXA1 and changes in the epigenomic profile drive the transition from PRAD

ABSTRACT Approximately 6%–8% of children and adolescents with rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) have an underlying cancer predisposition disorder (CPD), which varies between embryonal and alveolar subtypes and other clinical characteristics. Identifying a CPD remains challenging, as traditional approaches rely on clinical features and family history. Additionally,

Neuroendocrine gene subsets are uniquely dysregulated in prostate adenocarcinoma
Prostate cancer has heterogeneous growth patterns, and its prognosis is the poorest when it progresses to a neuroendocrine phenotype. Using bioinformatic analysis, we evaluated RNA expression of neuroendocrine genes in a panel of five different cancer ...

Clinical Translation of Patient‐Derived Organoids: Perspectives for Personalized Therapy in Cancer
ABSTRACT Patient‐derived organoids (PDO) are accelerating precision medicine. These biological platforms allow for the autologous in vitro expansion of material from cancer patients in a considerably short period of time. These three‐dimensional models can faithfully recapitulate aspects of tissue heterogeneity, architecture, and relevant cellular ...

Neuroendocrine prostate cancer (NEPC) is often considered treatment-induced. We report a case with pre-existing neuroendocrine differentiation that became evident during androgen receptor signaling inhibitor (ARSI) therapy.

Although prostate cancer is common in the western world and is associated with favorable overall survival, neuroendocrine prostate cancer is difficult to detect and is known to aggressively metastasize throughout the body. This subset of disease thus has
