Iron and Other Metal Ions in Human Health and Disease
Iron, copper, zinc, and calcium orchestrate cellular function through distinct yet cooperative mechanisms: redox‐active iron and copper cycle between oxidation states to act as Fenton catalysts and electron carriers in oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS); redox‐inert zinc serves as a structural component of zinc‐finger proteins and a catalytic cofactor ...

Duvelisib is a novel NFAT inhibitor that attenuates adalimumab immunogenicity
The immunogenicity of biologics is a major problem in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) because it neutralizes the activity of biologics such as adalimumab via the development of anti-drug antibodies (ADA) that can lead to disease relapse.

BTK inhibitors suppress malignant B‐cell signaling while simultaneously reshaping immune regulation through effects on T cells and the tumor microenvironment. These mechanisms support combination immunotherapy strategies and also underlie the expanding application of BTK inhibitors in solid tumors, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

Advancing In Vivo Chimeric Antigen Receptor T‐Cell Engineering to Accelerate Clinical Translation
In vivo CAR‐T cell generation directly engineers endogenous T cells using pre‐manufactured gene delivery vectors that target T cells and deliver CAR‐encoding genetic material. The resulting CAR‐T cells expand in vivo and mediate antigen‐specific cytotoxicity.

Summary: Background: Benign adrenal tumours, found in 1–7% of adults, can be non-functioning (NFAT) or show mild autonomous cortisol secretion (MACS), i.e., biochemical cortisol excess without manifestations of Cushing's syndrome (CS). MACS occurs in 20–

Calcineurin inhibitors and calcineurin-NFAT system
Cyclosporin A and tacrolimus have been used as immunosuppressive agents initially in organ transplantation after their discovery, and are also used for treatment of the autoimmune disease, providing an excellent therapeutic effect. These agents act targeting on intracellular phosphatase calcineurin (CN), and subsequently inhibit activation of nuclear ...

Immune‐Cell Dynamics in the Tumor Microenvironment: Implications for Cancer Therapy
Immune‐cell dynamics in the tumor microenvironment converge on four major barriers to effective therapy: failed immune access, defective antigen visibility and priming, loss of effector maintenance, and suppressive tissue remodeling. These barriers emerge from local hypoxic, cytokine, metabolic, and stromal signals.

Strategy for modular assembly of tetravalent, multispecific antibodies
Abstract Multispecific, multivalent antibodies (Abs) are a burgeoning class of drugs that dramatically expand the pharmacological repertoire beyond traditional therapeutic Abs. Here, we present a simple, modular approach to developing multispecific, multivalent Abs based on a Fab‐phage library with a single light chain.

The blood clam (Anadara granosa) is an economic bivalve that is relatively tolerant to hypoxia, but its molecular mechanism of hypoxia tolerance is unclear. We found that a significant decrease in extracellular Ca2+ concentration and a marked increase in
