Caracterización de Neisseria gonorrhoeae mediante esquema NG-MAST y FTIR
[EN] Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) represent a serious emerging public health problem affecting sexual and reproductive health worldwide. Gonococcal infection, caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae, is the second most common bacterial STI after Chlamydia trachomatis. In recent years, its incidence has increased significantly in our country, with the

Adenosine—A Regulator of Human Testicular Peritubular Cells
ABSTRACT Background Extracellular purines, in particular ATP and adenosine, are regulators of physiological and pathophysiological processes throughout the human body. Roles in the human testis are emerging and include actions on peritubular cells, which form the wall of seminiferous tubules.

Chromosomal and immune dysregulation underlying granular mitosis in glioblastoma
Granular mitosis (GM) morphology is linked to PI3K/PTEN pathway alterations, chromosomal disorganization, and impaired innate immunity. Cells exhibiting GM morphology are associated with localized immune responses within their immediate spatial microenvironment.

Schematic illustration showing how CRC‐associated ADSC‐derived CCL8 promotes colorectal cancer cell migration through ERK/HIF‐1α signaling in a 3D coculture platform. ABSTRACT This study aimed to recapitulate adipose‐tumor interactions within the colorectal cancer (CRC) tumor microenvironment (TME) and to elucidate the role of adipose‐derived stem ...

Mast Cells Selectively Deliver Extracellular Vesicle‐Encapsulated mRNA to Colorectal Cancer Cells
Schematic overview of mast cell‐colorectal cancer cell interactions. Mast cells bind to colorectal cancer cells through integrin‐mediated adhesion (1). Calcium influx arises in mast cells (2). Calcium signaling is required for the release of mRNA‐ and protein‐containing vesicles (3), resulting in the transfer of mast cell‐derived mRNA and proteins to ...

Mast Cells in Host Defense Against Cutaneous Staphylococcus aureus Infection
Impact of S. aureus epicutaneous sensitization models on mast cell function in vivo. D. farinae and Staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB) activate Trpv1+ Tac1+ nociceptors to trigger the release of substance P (SP), which promotes mast cell degranulation through Mrgprb2. S.

Myo1g Mediates NKR‐P1C Expression in Primary Mouse NK Cells and Participates in Cytotoxicity
In this study we analysed the participation of Myosin 1g in the development and functions of murine natural killer (NK) cells; we found that Myosin 1g is expressed in murine‐activated primary NK cells from the spleen. Additionally, in the absence of Myosin 1g, correlates with a reduced expression of NKR‐P1C but not of CD49b or NKp46.
