X‐ray visualization of copper‐binding modes revealed nonspecific surface metal sites that compromise stereoselectivity. Structure‐guided mutations suppressed background reactivity and enabled precise enantioselective control in the Michael addition, delivering up to 99% ee.

A structurally diverse series of 1‐amino‐izidine scaffolds was accessed through a cascade process combining rhodium‐catalyzed nitrene‐transfer oxyamidation with subsequent nucleophilic cyclization under acidic conditions, proceeding via an in situ generated iminium intermediate.

Mu Opioid Receptor mRNA and Protein Localization Across the Rat and Mouse Habenula
Mu opioid receptor (MOR) mRNA was detected with RNAscope in situ hybridization for Oprm1 and protein was detected with immunocytochemistry to map the distributions across the anterior‐posterior extent of the rat and mouse habenula. Expression distribution was also characterized in a transgenic reporter mouse line (Oprm1‐Venus/Venus) as an additional ...

FDA Approval of Donanemab‐azbt: A New Dawn in Alzheimer's Disease Treatment
ABSTRACT Background Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative condition marked by the accumulation of beta‐amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles, leading to neuronal death and cognitive decline. Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors (AChEIs) such as donepezil, galantamine, and rivastigmine are commonly used to enhance cognitive function by ...

Ivermectin Toxicity in Humans and Animals: Clinical Spectrum, Mechanisms, and Management
ABSTRACT Ivermectin is a widely used macrocyclic lactone with established efficacy against a broad range of parasitic infections in humans and animals and a long‐standing reputation for clinical safety. However, increasing evidence indicates that ivermectin can produce clinically relevant toxicity under specific conditions, particularly involving the ...

Schematic illustration on a therapeutic strategy wherein engineered extracellular vesicles (EVs) are delivered intranasally and specifically target pericytes. In a model of chronic cerebral hypoperfusion (BCAS), this targeted approach preserves cerebral blood flow, reinforces blood‐brain barrier (BBB) integrity, stabilizes the neurovascular unit (NVU),

Adolescent Exposure to Nicotine and Ethanol Attenuates Adult Nicotine Reward Sensitivity in Rats
We investigated how chronic exposure to nicotine, ethanol, or their combination during adolescence influences adult conditioned place preference (CPP) for nicotine. No significant CPP was observed in any of the drug‐exposed groups, suggesting adolescent exposure to addictive substances does not uniformly increase vulnerability to nicotine reward ...

ABSTRACT Cognitive impairments are important therapeutic targets in epilepsy medication; however, effective pharmacological treatments for epilepsy patients with comorbid cognitive impairment have not been established. Effects of chronic administration of MK‐801 (noncompetitive NMDA receptor inhibitor), memantine (low‐affinity extrasynaptic‐NMDA ...
