Diisopropylammonium nitrite [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E Structure Reports Online, 2012
In the title molecular salt, C6H16N+·NO2−, the cation forms two N—H...O hydrogen bonds to nearby nitrite anions which link the ionic units into chains propagating along theb-axis direction.

Plant biomass as potential economic commodities for agricultural purposes

open access: yesFrontiers in Chemistry, 2022
The world’s population is growing continually and is projected to reach nine billion by the year 2050. This growth rate requires increased and economically viable food production and an adequate supply of quality water to sustain life.

Distribution of groundwater nitrate in Dehloran, Iran: A case study using GIS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Advances in Environmental Health Research, 2016
Nitrate has been the most common chemical contaminant in water resource. This ion is introduced into the water via different ways, but more items of nitrate pollution was connected with farming-based drainage and sewage effluent.

Efficient Microwave-Assisted Extraction of Nitrites from Cured Meat and Their Voltammetric Detection at Chemically Modified Electrodes Based on Hexamethyl-p-Terphenyl Poly(methylatedbenzimidazolium) Incorporating Nitrogen-Doped Graphite Nanoplatelets

open access: yesChemosensors, 2021
We describe a fast and reliable procedure for the efficient extraction of nitrites in cured meat using microwave-assisted heat and report their in situ determination via voltammetry using an anion-exchanger ionene, hexamethyl-p-terphenyl poly ...

Nuclear quadrupole resonance spectroscopy with a femtotesla diamond magnetometer [PDF]

open access: yesScience advances 9 (24), eadh3189 (2025), 2023
Sensitive Radio-Frequency (RF) magnetometers that can detect oscillating magnetic fields at the femtotesla level are needed for demanding applications such as Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance (NQR) spectroscopy. RF magnetometers based on Nitrogen-Vacancy (NV) centers in diamond have been predicted to offer femtotesla sensitivity, but published experiments ...

Sonochemically‐Induced Reduction of Alkenes to Alkanes with Ammonia

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 134, Issue 51, December 19, 2022., 2022
Ammonia is used as a hydrogen source for the reduction of alkenes to alkanes. The originality stems from the use of cavitation bubbles that act as “microreactors” to break the N−H bond of NH3. As a result, this protocol does not involve any catalyst and it releases nitrogen (and partly hydrogen) as a sole co‐product.

Effects of stocking density on the performance of lettuce (Lactuca sativa) in small‐scale lettuce‐Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus L.) aquaponic system

open access: yesAquaculture, Fish and Fisheries, Volume 2, Issue 6, Page 458-469, December 2022., 2022
Graphical Abstract : Aquaponics, hydroponics, stocking density. Abstract Aquaponics incorporates aquaculture with hydroponics, whose principles and operations largely remain untested. Currently, there is a knowledge gap on the performance of aquaponic systems used for fish production under different stocking densities.
