Reaction of Nitrones with Phosphinylallenes: DFT Mechanistic Investigations
The mechanism of the reaction between phosphinylallenes and nitrones is investigated by DFT calculations to elucidate the overall pathway and the stereochemical outcome. The initial (3+2) cycloaddition delivers an unstable isoxazolidine ylidene intermediate, spontaneously rearranging to the 4‐phosphinylpyrrolidin‐3‐one via a radical pathway. This study

Emerging Therapeutic Strategies for Hearing Loss
Challenges still exist in treating hearing loss in cases of severe damage to hair cells or spiral ganglion neurons. Here, a schematic diagram of cochlear sensory hair cells and auditory nerves is presented. It is found that in normal Corti organs, hair cells have upright stereocilia at the top and auditory neurons at the base. Ototoxic drugs, noise, or

Valdiazen Derivatives for Chemoproteomic Studies in Burkholderia cenocepacia H111
Valdiazen is a quorum‐sensing signal isolated from B. c. H111. Using diazeniumdiolate chemical probes, several valdiazen‐binding proteins are identified, many of which are involved in structural and metabolic processes. This study offers valuable chemical tools and advances our understanding of the interactome associated with diazeniumdiolate signaling
