Random data final-state problem for the mass-subcritical NLS in $L^2$ [PDF]
We study the final-state problem for the mass-subcritical NLS above the Strauss exponent. For $u_+\in L^2$, we perform a physical-space randomization, yielding random final states $u_+^\omega\in L^2$.

Pre-crop Values From Satellite Images for Various Previous and Subsequent Crop Combinations
Monocultural land use challenges sustainability of agriculture. Pre-crop value indicates the benefits of a previous crop for a subsequent crop in crop sequencing and facilitates diversification of agricultural systems.

Explaining Natural Language Query Results [PDF]
Multiple lines of research have developed Natural Language (NL) interfaces for formulating database queries. We build upon this work, but focus on presenting a highly detailed form of the answers in NL. The answers that we present are importantly based on the provenance of tuples in the query result, detailing not only the results but also their ...

Different domains cooperate to target the human ribosomal L7a protein to the nucleus and to the nucleoli. [PDF]
The human ribosomal protein L7a is a component of the major ribosomal subunit. We transiently expressed in HeLa cells L7a-β-galactosidase fusion proteins and studied their subcellular localization by indirect immunofluorescence staining with anti-β ...

On the orbital instability of excited states for the NLS equation with the $\delta$-interaction on a star graph [PDF]
We study the nonlinear Schrodinger equation (NLS) on a star graph $\mathcal{G}$. At the vertex an interaction occurs described by a boundary condition of delta type with strength $\alpha\in \mathbb{R}$.

Super rogue waves in simulations based on weakly nonlinear and fully nonlinear hydrodynamic equations [PDF]
The rogue wave solutions (rational multi-breathers) of the nonlinear Schrodinger equation (NLS) are tested in numerical simulations of weakly nonlinear and fully nonlinear hydrodynamic equations. Only the lowest order solutions from 1 to 5 are considered.

On the growth of Sobolev norms for NLS on 2- and 3-dimensional manifolds [PDF]
Using suitable modified energies we study higher order Sobolev norms' growth in time for the nonlinear Schrodinger equation (NLS) on a generic $2d$ or $3d$ compact manifold. In $2d$ we extend earlier results that dealt only with cubic nonlinearities, and

Quantum gate description for induced coherence without induced emission and related phenomena [PDF]
We introduce unitary quantum gates for photon pair creation in spontaneous parametric down-conversion nonlinear crystals (NLs) and for photon path alignment. These are the two key ingredients for the method of "induced coherence without induced emission"

Ground state and orbital stability for the NLS equation on a general starlike graph with potentials [PDF]
We consider a nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLS) posed on a graph (or network) composed of a generic compact part to which a finite number of half-lines are attached. We call this structure a starlike graph. At the vertices of the graph interactions of
