Domination number of the non-commuting graph of finite groups

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Graph Theory and Applications, 2018
Let G be a non-abelian group. The non-commuting graph of group G, shown by ΓG, is a graph with the vertex set G \ Z(G), where Z(G) is the center of group G. Also two distinct vertices of a and b are adjacent whenever ab ≠ ba.

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

A new Adversary of Freedom as Non-Domination [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Philip Pettit ha utilizado la libertad positiva y negativa de Isaiah Berlin para dos propósitos diferentes. En primer lugar, la distinción es empleada para elaborar un ideal distinguible de libertad como no-dominación que contiene elementos propios de ...

Addressing Expensive Multi-objective Games with Postponed Preference Articulation via Memetic Co-evolution

open access: yes, 2017
This paper presents algorithmic and empirical contributions demonstrating that the convergence characteristics of a co-evolutionary approach to tackle Multi-Objective Games (MOGs) with postponed preference articulation can often be hampered due to the ...

The Ethics of Resisting Deportation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Can anti-deportation resistance be justified, and if so how and by whom may, or perhaps should, unjust deportations be resisted? In this paper, I seek to provide an answer to these questions.

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2017
Subdividing an edge in the graph may increase the domination number or remains the same. In this paper, we introduce a new kind of graph called non - domination subdivision stable graph (NDSS). We obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for a graph to be NDSS.

Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

Liberalismo y republicanismo: el uso político de los conceptos de libertad

open access: yesRevista Internacional de Pensamiento Político, 2016
In contemporary political theory we are witnessing an increase of adherents of republicanism, understood as an alternative discourse to a supposedly exhausted liberalism. The debate on the concepts of liberty occupies the centre of the discussion.
