The domination parameters of cubic graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Let ir(G), γ(G), i(G), β0(G), Γ(G) and IR(G) be the irredundance number, the domination number, the independent domination number, the independence number, the upper domination number and the upper irredundance number of a graph G, respectively.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Automorphisms and independent number of single nonzero component graph over a vector space

open access: yesOpen Mathematics
In this paper, we introduce a graph structure, called the single non-zero component graph Γ(V) ${\Gamma}\left(\mathbb{V}\right)$ , on a finite dimensional vector space V $\mathbb{V}$ .

The ethics of the international monetary system

open access: yesInternational Theory
The ethics of the international monetary system (IMS) can be framed either as a case of background injustice or of structural injustice. Both ideas suggest that due to the background conditions, the interaction of agents, in a context of no rules, can ...

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

The Number of Minimum Dominating Sets in Pn × P2 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A set S of vertices in a graph G is said to be a Smarandachely k-dominating set if each vertex of G is dominated by at least k vertices of S.

ON THE DOMINATION NUMBER OF THE SUM ANNIHILATING IDEAL GRAPH OF A COMMUTATIVE RING AND ON THE DOMINATION NUMBER OF ITS COMPLEMENT [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebraic Systems
The rings considered in this article are commutative with identity which are not integral domains. Let R be a ring. The sum annihilating ideal graph of R is an undirected graph whose vertex set is the set of all non-zero annihilating ideals of R and ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Toleration and non-domination

open access: yes, 2013
The need for toleration is understood to derive from disagreements that arise from religious and cultural diversity. While a number of different justifications can be offered for toleration, the value of freedom is one of the most significant.
