Micella interesterification of soybean and rapeseed oils was carried out using 0.2, 0.4 and 0.6 percentages of nickel catalyst, each at different temperatures of 60, 90 and 120ºC for 2, 4, and 6 hours. The proposed interesterification reaction conditions

Effect of Intravenous Amino Acids on Plasma Non-Esterified Fatty Acids.
Summary(1) The effect of infusing an amino acid mixture (protein hydrolysate) on plasma NEFA, venous glucose level, and capillary-venous glucose difference, was studied in 6 healthy volunteer subjects. In every instance, plasma NEFA levels fell precipitously during amino acid infusion, and capillary-venous glucose differences increased concurrently ...

Reliable measurement of non-esterified long-chain fatty acid pattern in blood plasma
In this reliable assay for determining the non-esterified long-chain fatty acid pattern in plasma, only 100 μl of sample are needed and a single assay can be done within 40 min.

Nanocellulose, derived from microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) through sulfuric acid hydrolysis or mechanical grinding to produce CNC or CNF, was tested in a rat ICP model. Particularly, CNF improved gut microbiota composition, reduced secondary bile acid metabolism, and restored bile acid homeostasis through modulation of the gut–liver axis.

Impact of fatty acid status on immune function of children in low-income countries.
In vitro and animal studies point to numerous mechanisms by which fatty acids, especially long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPUFA), can modulate the innate and adaptive arms of the immune system.

This system adopts a biomimetic phospholipid structure, covalently binding iNOS inhibitors, neuroprotective agent PCA and vitamin E derivatives through pH/ROS dual‐responsive bonds, and assembles them with Prussian blue nanozyme to form PBB@AHA. It can efficiently penetrate the blood‐brain barrier and simultaneously release multiple active components ...

In rheumatoid arthritis, synovial Tregs accumulate but are functionally impaired due to iron overload‐induced ferroptosis. This triggers mitochondrial dysfunction and TXK tyrosine kinase‐mediated signaling, leading to Treg destabilization and inflammation.
