Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Environmental Forensics of Industrial Wastewater based on Non-Target Screening [PDF]

Changing case order to optimise patterns of performance in mammography screening (CO-OPS) : study protocol for a randomized controlled trial [PDF]
Background: X-ray mammography remains the predominant test for screening for breast cancer, with the aim of reducing breast cancer mortality. In the English NHS Breast Screening Programme each woman’s mammograms are examined separately by two expert ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Characteristics of toxicokinetics and metabolic transformation of flonicamid in rats
Flonicamid (FLO), as a novel pyridinecarboxamide insecticide, has attracted wide attention because of its detection in human-derived samples. To evaluate its potential health risk, it is essential to clarify the absorption, distribution, and excretion ...

On optimal search for a moving target [PDF]
The work of this thesis is concerned with the following problem and its derivatives. Consider the problem of searching for a target which moves randomly between n sites. The movement is modelled with an n state Markov chain.
