Moments of the generalized hyperbolic distribution
In this paper we demonstrate a recursive method for obtaining the moments of the generalized hyperbolic distribution. The method is readily programmable for numerical evaluation of moments.

Flexible time series models for subjective distribution estimation with monetary policy in view [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce a new approach to estimate the subjective distribution of the future short rate from the historical dynamics of futures, based on a model generated by a Normal Inverse Gaussian distribution, with dynamical parameters.

Software Implementation of the Epps-Pulley Criterion in Matlab Modeling Environment
Purpose. Modeling systems and programming platforms provide broad opportunities for the use of statistical tools in research activities. Since the normal distribution is one of the most common distribution laws, the criterion for checking the sample for ...

CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Asymptotically distribution free (adf) interval estimation of coefficient alpha [PDF]
Asymptotic distribution free (ADF) interval estimators for coefficient alpha were introduced in the context of an application by Yuan, Guarnaccia, and Hayslip (2003). Here, simulation studies were performed to investigate the behavior of ADF vs.

The McDonald Normal Distribution
A five-parameter distribution called the McDonald normal distribution is defined and studied. The new distribution contains, as special cases, several important distributions discussed in the literature, such as the normal, skew-normal, exponentiated ...

Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches.
