Classification and Characterization Methods for Heterojunctions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Currently, there is no unified standard for the classification and nomenclature of heterojunctions. To address this issue, this article systematically summarizes and standardizes the classification and naming rules for heterojunctions. Furthermore, it provides a clear elucidation of the differences in photogenerated carrier behavior among O–scheme, Z ...

Surface Coordination and Polymerization of Allyl Mercaptan Passivates the Oxidation of Copper

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that allyl mercaptan self‐assembles on the surface of copper via coordination and polymerization, forming an ultrathin polymeric passivation layer (8.06 ± 0.50 nm). The modified copper foil achieves a two‐order‐of‐magnitude anti‐corrosion performance enhancement across multi‐service environments. Abstract The oxidation of copper

Reconfigurable Soft Actuators Constructed via Layer‐by‐layer Assembly

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Stimulated by the energy inputs from heating or humidifying, structural reconfigurations took place in two different materials as manifested by the dynamic structures and mechanical performance, leading to the opportunities of self‐healing and welding. Based on the hierarchical assembly of these two materials with complementary properties, an actuator ...

Red Blood Cell Membrane‐Camouflaged Red Phosphorus‐Modified C3N4 for Enhanced Tumoral Photodynamic Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) faces clinical challenges due to poor tumor targeting and systemic toxicity. Herein, a biomimetic C3N4‐RP@RBCm nanoplatform is developed via erythrocyte membrane encapsulation, enabling CD47‐mediated immune evasion and EPR‐driven tumor accumulation.
