Ecology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 2, February 2026.The crop with the highest damages was cocoa (63.9% plants affected by black pod disease), followed by Fusarium stem rot was the second highest damage in crops (30.0% of vanilla plants infected). Insecticides and fungicides do not have a significant impact in reducing pest and pathogen infestation.
