A protective role of gamma/delta T cells in primary infection with Listeria monocytogenes in mice. [PDF]
We have previously reported that T cells bearing T cell receptors (TCRs) of gamma/delta type appear at a relatively early stage of primary infection with Listeria monocytogenes in mice.

Structural Studies of Shigella flexneri O-Antigens [PDF]
The structures of the O-antigens of all known serotypes and subserotypes of Shigella flexneri have been reinvestigated. The results support the assumption that these antigens are composed of a basic tetrasaccharide repeating unit (1), to which alpha-D-glucopyranosyl and/or O-acetyl groups are attached at different positions. Leads to 3)-beta-D-GlcNAcp-(

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Burkholderia pseudomallei, a facultative intracellular pathogen, has been classified into three distinct serotypes: A, B, and B2. Serotype A is the most prevalent, serotype B is the next most common. However, no vaccines target B.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Screening of a HUVEC cDNA library with transplant-associated coronary artery disease sera identifies RPL7 as a candidate autoantigen associated with this disease. [PDF]
A HUVEC cDNA library was screened with sera from two patients who had developed transplant-associated coronary artery disease (TxCAD) following cardiac transplantation.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.
