Investigating the Heat Stability and Inactivation Conditions of Decapod Iridescent Virus 1 (DIV1)
Heat treatment effectively inactivates decapod iridescent virus 1 (DIV1) under milder conditions than current WOAH recommendations. DIV1 infectivity was eliminated at 56°C for 30 min, 60°C for 15 min, or 70°C for 1 min, providing optimized heat treatment strategies for aquaculture biosecurity and seafood safety.

Heat Stress in Quail: Impacts on Health and Productivity, and Mitigation Strategies
Heat stress disrupts physiological homeostasis in quail, inducing oxidative stress, immune dysregulation, and metabolic imbalance, which impair growth, reproduction, product quality, and welfare. Integrating nutritional, environmental, and genetic–epigenetic strategies enhances thermotolerance, sustains productivity, and supports climate‐smart quail ...

Follicle Stimulating Hormone in Cattle Breeding: Fundamentals, Innovations, and Scope
FSH is crucial in cattle reproduction, with exogenous administration enhancing breeding and embryo production. Recombinant FSH offers advantages over pituitary‐extracted variants, including fewer injections, reduced stress, and safer production. These innovations improve breeding efficiency, optimize reproductive outcomes, and contribute to sustainable

Experimental evidence for offspring learning in parent–offspring communication
The offspring of birds and mammals solicit food from their parents by a combination of movements and vocalizations that have come to be known collectively as 'begging'. Recently, begging has most often been viewed as an honest signal of offspring need. Yet, if offspring learn to adjust their begging efforts to the level that rewards them most, begging ...
