Synthesis and Characterization of (R)‐ and (S)‐1,1′‐Bi‐2‐Naphtholato Coordinated Gallium(III) Porphyrins and Their Chiroptical Properties

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, Volume 28, Issue 32, November 10, 2025.
Gallium porphyrins bearing chiral bi‐2‐naphtholato ligands are synthesized and characterized. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and various spectroscopic analyses confirmed their structures. Circular dichroism spectroscopy revealed a Cotton effect corresponding to the absorption band of the achiral porphyrin core.
