Synthesis and Characterization of (R)‐ and (S)‐1,1′‐Bi‐2‐Naphtholato Coordinated Gallium(III) Porphyrins and Their Chiroptical Properties

Gallium porphyrins bearing chiral bi‐2‐naphtholato ligands are synthesized and characterized. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction and various spectroscopic analyses confirmed their structures. Circular dichroism spectroscopy revealed a Cotton effect corresponding to the absorption band of the achiral porphyrin core.

Fabricating α‐MnO2@NiMoO4 Heterostructure Architecture With Superior Photoelectrocatalytic Water Purification

The Z‐type heterojunction catalyst, NiMoO4@α‐MnO2, synthesized by a hydrothermal method, was able to enhance charge transport, pollutant concentration, and solar energy uptake, as well as to promote the generation of the active species, ·O2− and ·OH, leading to excellent PEC performance.
