Overlapping Resonances in Open Quantum Systems [PDF]
An $N$-level quantum system is coupled to a bosonic heat reservoir at positive temperature. We analyze the system-reservoir dynamics in the following regime: The strength $λ$ of the system-reservoir coupling is fixed and small, but larger than the spacing $σ$ of system energy levels.

Dynamics of mode formation in an open resonator [PDF]
We developed an iteration algorithm for open resonator simulation and employed it in studying the dynamics of mode formation. Simulations of an axially symmetrical empty resonator rely on an analytical description of radiation diffraction from a narrow ring. Reflection of an incident wave with a specified amplitude-phase distribution from the mirror is

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is assessed by cell counting and cytomorphology from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and is used for treatment stratification worldwide. The ratio of “CNS2” patients in clinical trials ranges from 3% to 40%, with unclear prognostic significance ...

AXIALLY SYMMETRIC MODES IN AN OPEN RESONATOR [PDF]
Subject and Purpose. The behavior of axially symmetric oscillations in a hemispherical open resonator (OR) integrated into a waveguide transmission line and operating in pass-through mode is studied. The apertures of the OR mirrors are 60 mm.

Miniaturised single‐layer bandpass filters using triple and quad‐mode patch resonators
The authors propose miniaturised single‐layer bandpass filters (BPFs) by utilising a kind of new triple‐ and quad‐mode patch resonators. The triple‐mode resonator consists of a shortened square patch and a loaded metallic via at the centre ...

The Role of Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation in Ataxia‐Telangiectasia
ABSTRACT Background Ataxia‐telangiectasia (A‐T) is a DNA repair disorder characterized by neurodegeneration, immunodeficiency, and cancer predisposition. Hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is an established therapy in related disorders such as Fanconi anemia (FA) and Nijmegen breakage syndrome (NBS), but its role in A‐T is unclear.

Transient response of an open resonator in the time domain
In the present paper a time response of a quasi-optical open resonator when exciting it by a pulse signal with a radiofrequency filling has been investigated using an inverse Fourier transformation.
