Time-resolved surveys of stellar clusters
We describe the information that can be gained when a survey is done multi-epoch, and its particular impact for open clusters. We first explain the irreplaceable information that multi-epoch observations are giving within astrometry, photometry and ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

AZD9291 has shown promise in targeted cancer therapy but is limited by resistance. In this study, we employed metabolic labeling and LC–MS/MS to profile time‐resolved nascent protein perturbations, allowing dynamic tracking of drug‐responsive proteins. We demonstrated that increased NNMT expression is associated with drug resistance, highlighting NNMT ...

The Deeper Studies of IC 2488 and IC 2714
In this paper, we use two methods, an algorithm of the density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise combined with the Gaussian mixture model, and the maximum likelihood method, to study two open clusters: IC 2488 and IC 2714 with Gaia Data

The chemical homogeneity of open clusters
Determining the level of chemical homogeneity in open clusters is of fundamental importance in the study of the evolution of star-forming clouds and that of the Galactic disk.

This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

A‐to‐I editing of miRNAs, particularly miR‐200b‐3p, contributes to HGSOC progression by enhancing cancer cell proliferation, migration and 3D growth. The edited form is linked to poorer patient survival and the identification of novel molecular targets.

Multiple Machine Learning as a Powerful Tool for Star Cluster Analysis
This work proposes a multiple machine learning method (MMLM) aiming to improve the accuracy and robustness of the analysis of star clusters. The MMLM performance is evaluated by applying it to the reanalysis of an old binary cluster candidate—comprised ...

Variable stars in young open cluster NGC 2244 [PDF]
ABSTRACT We present results of a UBVIC variability survey in the young open cluster NGC 2244. In total, we found 245 variable stars. Most of them, 211 stars, are variables with irregular variations. Furthermore, 23 periodic variables were found. We also detected four candidates for δ Scuti stars and seven eclipsing binaries. Based on the
