Organic carbon transport and C/N ratio variations in a large tropical river: Godavari as a case study, India [PDF]
This study gives an insight into the source of organic carbon and nitrogen in the Godavari river and its tributaries, the yield of organic carbon from the catchment, seasonal variability in their concentration and the ultimate flux of organic and ...

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Enantioselective synthesis of chiral amides by carbene insertion into amide N–H bond
Chiral amides are important structure in many natural products and pharmaceuticals, yet their efficient synthesis from simple amide feedstock remains challenge due to its weak Lewis basicity.

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Modelling soil organic matter turnover [PDF]
This thesis investigates various ways of determining and predicting soil carbon quality. The continuous-quality theory was used to study soil carbon quality changes under perturbations and to explain soil C:N ratios. Also, using the framework of the same

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Iron-catalyzed alkyne alkylzincation affected by counterions
Metal complex catalysts typically comprise three components: ligands, central metals, and counterions. The counterion profoundly influences the activity and selectivity of numerous catalytic reactions, while such a phenomenon is rarely observed in ...
