Starch nanoparticles as a bio-nanocatalyst in synthesis of diheteroaryl thioethers
Nanostarch is shown to be a highly efficient, eco-friendly and heterogenous organocatalyst for the synthesis of the diheteroaryl thioethers via one-pot reaction of methylcarbonyls, thiourea and iodine in DMSO.

Citrate trisulfonic acid as a novel, recyclable, and heterogeneous organocatalyst for the one-pot synthesis of 4-iminoquinolines [PDF]
Citrate trisulfonic acid (CTSA), as a novel, heterogeneous and organocatalyst, was applied for an efficient synthesis of 4-iminoquinolines using 2-aminobenzonitrile, active methylenes and orthoesters under solvent-free conditions.

This review highlights recent advances in integrating biocatalysis and chemocatalysis in continuous flow to create streamlined, sustainable processes. It examines chemo‐enzymatic cascades combining at least one enzymatic and one chemical step, discusses challenges such as enzyme immobilization, leaching, and reactor clogging, and presents solutions ...

A catalytic network embedding a formal rearrangement enables the first catalytic enantioselective multicomponent reaction (MCR) of sulfur ylides. In the presence of a bulky chiral phosphoric acid, the reaction combines sulfoxonium ylides, aldehydes and thiols, and affords synthetically versatile β‐hydroxy‐α‐sulfanyl carbonyl compounds in ...

Design and Synthesis of Helical N-Terminal l-Prolyl Oligopeptides Possessing Hydrocarbon Stapling
We designed and synthesized helical short oligopeptides with an l-proline on the N-terminus and hydrocarbon stapling on the side chain. Side-chain stapling is a frequently used method for the development of biologically active peptides.

Asymmetric Iron‐Catalyzed Vicinal C(sp3)─H Diamination of Carboxylic Acids
An iron‐catalyzed vicinal α,β‐C(sp3)─H diamination of readily available carboxylic acids furnishes chiral α,β‐diamino acids in a single pot with high regio‐, diastereo‐, and enantioselectivity (up to >20:1 dr and >99% ee). ABSTRACT The direct construction of chiral 1,2‐diamines through the stereoselective functionalization of two vicinal C(sp3)─H bonds

Cyclo‐Polyproline: Chameleonic All‐Peptide Macrocycles With Induced‐Fit Host‐Guest Recognition
Macrocycles served as the genesis of supramolecular chemistry, advancing synthetic, separation, and materials fields. Despite their utility, they typically lack synthetic control. This work establishes a robust platform for all‐peptide macrocycles capable of host‐guest complexation and chameleonic behavior.
