Kinetic Analysis of Transmetalation at Prototypical Nickel(II) Catalyst Species: Rates, Mechanisms, and Implications for Catalysis

A 31P{1H} NMR method enabling direct measurement of transmetalation at Ni(II) is disclosed, providing an extensive kinetic dataset. Rates span five orders of magnitude and exhibit strong ligand dependence, with monodentate ligands promoting transmetalation.

Synthesis of functionalized polyolefins in a new continuous bench‐scale reactor apparatus

Abstract In‐reactor functionalized polyolefins (FPOs), produced by molecular catalysts, are a new class of polymer materials with applications ranging from high performance adhesives to bitumen compatibilization. Memristors based on trimethylsulfonium (phenanthroline)tetraiodobismuthate have been utilised as a nonlinear node in a delayed feedback reservoir. This system allowed an efficient classification of acoustic signals, namely differentiation of vocalisation of the brushtail possum (Trichosurus vulpecula).

Short Sb···Sb Contacts in Polymorphic Tris(p‐Tolyl)Antimony: A Hallmark of Organoantimony(III) Solid‐State Chemistry?
