OTFT Modelling and Characteristics
Considering that a standard OTFT model is not established; yet, in this chapter we give a brief explanation about the models used in our design. The operation of OTFTs in general is explained qualitatively and, for each technology, the models used to describe the OTFT performance are presented.

A printed OTFT-backplane for AMOLED display
Organic Electronics, 2013Abstract An AMOLED panel driven by an OTFT-backplane is an attractive display because OTFTs and OLEDs use organic materials with unique characteristics such as low temperature and solution processing ability, and thus are able to implement the key features of future displays.

ABSTRACTOrganic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) using cross-linked olefin polymer as a gate insulator were fabricated on a plastic film. An olefin polymer layer was formed by spin-coating and baking at temperatures below 150°C. Pentacene was used as an organic semiconductor layer. The fabricated OTFTs with a short 5-μm-long channel showed a mobility of 0.

Dependence of sensing performance of OTFT-based H2 sensor on channel length
For a hydrogen sensor based on organic thin-film transistor (OTFT) with palladium (Pd) source/drain (S/D) electrodes as the sensing medium, the effects of channel length on its sensing performance are investigated.

Modeling the subthreshold region of OTFTs
2011 8th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control, 2011This paper presents the expressions and procedure for precise and simple modeling of the subthreshold region of OTFTs. The total drain current in the OTFT is calculated as the sum of two components, one calculated in above threshold regime plus the one corresponding to the below threshold regime. The tanh function is used to sew both regions.

Recent advances in the reliability of OTFTs
SPIE Proceedings, 2012In this paper, we present the results of achieving stable organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) under bias stress conditions. We discuss the various factors that have been found to influence the operational stability of the OTFT. This has enabled Plastic Logic to achieve a reliable active matrix backplane on low cost flexible substrates which is a ...

Application of redox doping in OTFTs
SPIE Proceedings, 2008Molecular redox dopants are tested concerning their application to organic thin-film transistors (OTFT). Here we report on the feasibility of solution processing of molecular-doped transport layers, showing high air-stability of solutions and layers.
