Application of redox doping in OTFTs

SPIE Proceedings, 2008
Molecular redox dopants are tested concerning their application to organic thin-film transistors (OTFT). Here we report on the feasibility of solution processing of molecular-doped transport layers, showing high air-stability of solutions and layers.

Stability in OTFT Gas Sensors

MRS Proceedings, 2005
AbstractOrganic thin film transistor (OTFT) gas sensors fabricated with an array of different active materials are monitored for shifts in performance characteristics during continuous operation over many days in both inert and ambient environments. We analyze the different patterns of degradation behavior observed in different materials and discuss ...

Complementary OTFT Technology

2015
In this chapter, we introduce the characteristics of the S2S and W2W technologies used in this work to implement different circuits and systems-on-foil. For each technology, we explain the process flow, the device configuration, and the typical layout rules.

OTFT Modelling and Characteristics

2015
Considering that a standard OTFT model is not established; yet, in this chapter we give a brief explanation about the models used in our design. The operation of OTFTs in general is explained qualitatively and, for each technology, the models used to describe the OTFT performance are presented.

Transfer technology for fabrication of flexible OTFT backplane

2011 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting, 2011
A new transfer technology to realize flexible organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) on a plastic substrate has been developed. The basic principle of the proposed method is that all the fabrication processes for the OTFT array on glass substrate have been completed, and the OTFT is then transferred onto the plastic film.

An OTFT‐driven rollable OLED display

Journal of the Society for Information Display, 2011
Abstract— An 80‐μm‐thick rollable AMOLED display driven by an OTFT is reported. The display was developed so as to be rollable in one direction with an integrated OTFT gate driver circuit. It was successfully operated by an originally developed organic semiconductor, a peri‐xanthenoxanthene derivative.

Developement of Printed OTFTs and Logic Circuits

ECS Meeting Abstracts, 2017
We report the development of inkjet-printed organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs), inverters and logic circuits on PET substrate. The mobility of 1 cm2/Vs and 0.1 cm2/Vs achieved on p-type and n-type printed OTFTs with an operation voltage of 15 V. The printed uniform and thin dielectric layer achieved by introducing coffee ring effect on printing ...

High mobility solution-processed OTFTs

IEEE InternationalElectron Devices Meeting, 2005. IEDM Technical Digest., 2005
Using bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl)pentacene (TIPS -pentacene), we have fabricated solution-processed OTFTs with mobility near 1.5 cm2 /Vmiddots. This is the highest mobility reported to date for solution-processed OTFTs. The organic semiconductor thin films used in these devices require no high temperature processing and also show remarkable molecular
