Impact of Protostellar Outflows on Turbulence and Star Formation Efficiency in Magnetized Dense Cores [PDF]
The star-forming efficiency of dense gas is thought to be set within cores by outflow and radiative feedback. We use magnetohydrodynamic simulations to investigate the relation between protostellar outflow evolution, turbulence, and star formation ...

Function‐driven design of a surrogate interleukin‐2 receptor ligand
Interleukin (IL)‐2 signaling can be achieved and precisely fine‐tuned through the affinity, distance, and orientation of the heterodimeric receptors with their ligands. We designed a biased IL‐2 surrogate ligand that selectively promotes effector T and natural killer cell activation and differentiation. Interleukin (IL) receptors play a pivotal role in

Does inflation reduce remittance outflows in Saudi Arabia?
This study examines the potential relationship between inflation and remittance outflows in Saudi Arabia over the period 1971–2019 by applying the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model.

Mechanisms of parasite‐mediated disruption of brain vessels
Parasites can affect the blood vessels of the brain, often causing serious neurological problems. This review explains how different parasites interact with and disrupt these vessels, what this means for brain health, and why these processes matter. Understanding these mechanisms may help us develop better ways to prevent or treat brain infections in ...

Mass Transfer in Mira-Type Binaries
Detached, symbiotic binaries are generally assumed to interact via Bondi-Hoyle-Littleton (BHL) wind accretion. However, the accretion rates and outflow geometries that result from this mass-transfer mechanism cannot adequately explain the observations of

Gamma-Ray Emission from Galaxies Hosting Molecular Outflows
Many star-forming galaxies and those hosting active galactic nuclei show evidence of massive outflows of material in a variety of phases including ionized, neutral atomic, and molecular.

Clustered Star Formation in W75 N [PDF]
We present 2" to 7" resolution 3 mm continuum and CO(J=1-0) line emission and near infrared Ks, H2, and [FeII] images toward the massive star forming region W75 N. The CO emission uncovers a complex morphology of multiple, overlapping outflows.

The Limited Impact of Outflows: Integral-field Spectroscopy of 20 Local AGNs [PDF]
To investigate active galactic nucleus (AGN) outflows as a tracer of AGN feedback on star formation, we perform integral-field spectroscopy of 20 type 2 AGNs at z < 0.1, which are luminous AGNs with [O iii] luminosity > 10 erg s−1 that exhibit strong ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
