GPCRs in CAR‐T Cell Immunotherapy: Expanding the Target Landscape and Enhancing Therapeutic Efficacy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy faces dual challenges of target scarcity and an immunosuppressive microenvironment in solid tumors. This review highlights how G protein‐coupled receptors can serve as both novel targets to expand the therapeutic scope and functional modules to enhance CAR‐T cell efficacy.

In vitro gastrin-releasing peptide response in chicken ovarian follicles

open access: yesPoultry Science
The gastrin-releasing peptide (GRP) is reported to be mainly produced by the pituitary in chickens, with its receptor (GRPR) highly expressed in the ovaries, indicating its regulatory role in ovarian function. Present study aims to verify the role of GRP

Roles of binding elements, FOXL2 domains, and interactions with cJUN and SMADs in regulation of FSHβ. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We previously identified FOXL2 as a critical component in FSHβ gene transcription. Here, we show that mice deficient in FOXL2 have lower levels of gonadotropin gene expression and fewer LH- and FSH-containing cells, but the same level of other pituitary ...

N4‐acetylcytidine in LncRNA Gm26917 Promotes Translation in Female Germline Stem Cells by Recruiting Ribosomal Protein mRNA via EEF1A1

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work establishes that ac4C modification on lncRNA Gm26917 governs its spatial interactions with Rpl10 mRNA, and RBP EEF1A1 mediates the interaction between Gm26917 and Rpl10. It elucidates a novel ac4C‐Gm26917‐EEF1A1‐Rpl10 axis in FGSC maintenance both in vitro and in vivo, and provides a potential molecular target for modulating germ cell ...

IGFBP5 Restores Endometrial Receptivity and Rescues Implantation Failure in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Impaired endometrial receptivity contributes to the poor pregnancy outcomes in women with PCOS. The authors found that decreased endometrial IL‐22 levels and disrupted STAT3‐IGFBP5 signaling pathway contributed to impaired endometrial receptivity. Supplementation with IL‐22 or IGFBP5 exerts a protective effect on implantation failure in PCOS‐like mice,

RETRACTED ARTICLE: MiR-140 targets RAP2A to enable the proliferation of insulin-treated ovarian granulosa cells

open access: yesJournal of Ovarian Research, 2020
Background We elucidated the role of specific MicroRNAs (miRNAs) in the development of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and explained the changes in the proliferation of granulosa cells. Excised ovarian cortex specimens were collected for miRNA profiling

Role of COX-2/PGE2 signaling pathway in the apoptosis of rat ovarian granulosa cells induced by MEHP

open access: yesEcotoxicology and Environmental Safety, 2023
Objective: MEHP, as the metabolite of DEHP, is a widely used environmental endocrine disruptor. Ovarian granulosa cells participate in maintaining the function of ovary and COX2/PGE2 pathway may regulate the function of granulosa cells.

Hormonal regulation of female reproduction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Reproduction is an event that requires the coordination of peripheral organs with the nervous system to ensure that the internal and external environments are optimal for successful procreation of the species.

Dose‐Dependent Reprogramming of Chromatin Accessibility by SOX4 Drives the Transcriptional Response to Iron Overload

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that iron overload triggers widespread chromatin compaction and transcriptional repression in human granulosa cells, recapitulating features of endometriosis. The epigenetic reprogramming is orchestrated by a TFEB‐SOX4‐SWI/SNF axis, with SOX4 acting as a central, dosage‐sensitive regulator.

Protective effect of luteinizing hormone on frozen-thawed ovarian follicles and granulosa cells.

open access: yesPLoS ONE
Ovarian tissue cryopreservation addresses critical challenges in fertility preservation for prepubertal female cancer patients, such as the lack of viable eggs and hormonal deficiencies.
