Behavior Of Overhead Transmission Line Parameters On The Presence Of Ground Wires

open access: yes, 2015
Initially this paper shows the ground wire reduction process for generic multiphase transmission lines and after, the ground wire reduction process for a specific 440-kV three-phase overhead transmission line.

Gap‐Free Information Transfer in 4D‐STEM via Fusion of Complementary Scattering Channels

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fused Full‐Field STEM (FF‐STEM) is introduced as a 4D‐STEM imaging modality that combines direct ptychography with tilt‐corrected dark‐field reconstruction in a single acquisition. Fourier‐space fusion using Wiener‐type spectral weighting closes the low‐frequency contrast gap inherent to bright‐field methods, delivering gap‐free, dose‐efficient, near ...

Adverse Peculiarity Arising with Overhead Power Lines

open access: yesPower and Electrical Engineering, 2016
In the paper, the power lines with flat arrangement of phases are considered. At the end of untransposed power lines, the unbalanced voltage appears. As an alternative to transposition, unbalanced load can be applied. Considerable difference of phase loads is the shortcoming of this method.

Closing the Empirical Loop: Autonomous AI Agents Conduct End‐to‐end Research With Human Participants

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multi‐agent AI system autonomously executes the complete scientific workflow, from hypothesis to manuscript, across three psychological studies involving 288 participants. The system designs experiments, collects real world data, develops analysis pipelines, and writes manuscripts with theoretical rigor comparable to experienced researchers.

Space‐Time Metasurface Antenna Enabled High‐Dimensional Electromagnetic Modulation for Intrinsic Physical Layer Security

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The concept of high‐dimensional EM modulation using the STMA for physical layer secure communication is illustrated in figure. The STMA consists of a series of programmable unit cells, with 1‐bit reconfigurable phase states (0/π). The STMA is excited by a monochromatic continuous wave (CW) at frequency fc and controlled by a field‐programmable gate ...

Identifying a Csmd3+ Microglial Subpopulation that Drives Cold‐to‐Hot Transition and Immune‐Cure in Glioblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The study establishes an immune‐cure (ICu) mouse model based on a TMEMed G422TN‐GBM system that faithfully recapitulates human TMEMed GBM. scRNA‐seq analysis reveals a Csmd3+ microglial subset with innate immune memory (IIM) potential that potently suppresses GBM growth, drives a TME cold‐to‐hot transition, and induces 100% ICu in long‐term survival ...

An internship with Balpara: Distribution design customer funded projects [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Distribution systems occupy a prominent role in the definition of a power system. The basic function of a distribution system is to deliver electrical energy from a transmission substation or small generating stations to the customers, transforming the ...

Volatile ZrO2 Antiferroelectric Tunnel Junctions for Rapid, Energy‐Efficient Physical Reservoir Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An antiferroelectric tunnel junction serves as a reservoir computing node, where field‐induced phase transitions and spontaneous ZrO2 relaxation deliver nonlinear fading memory. An In‐Ga‐Zn oxide interlayer enlarges the memory margin and multibit state richness.

NbOx Mott Memristor‐Based Oscillatory P‐trit for Ternary Potts Machine

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A ternary Potts machine utilizing NbOx‐based probabilistic trits (p‐trits) is demonstrated for efficient combinatorial optimization. By leveraging the electro‐thermal switching dynamics of NbOx memristors, this architecture generates three‐state stochastic fluctuations.
