Research on Formation Mechanism and Suppression Measures of Internal Overvoltage for High-speed Train

open access: yes机车电传动, 2020
Aiming at the internal overvoltage phenomenon during high-speed train operation, the overvoltage formation mechanism and its influencing factors were analyzed by taking the case of the overvoltage in passing neutral section and the overvoltage of ...

Initial Measurements with the PETsys TOFPET2 ASIC Evaluation Kit and a Characterization of the ASIC TDC

open access: yes, 2018
For a first characterization, we used the two KETEK-PM3325-WB SiPMs each equipped with a 3x3x5 mm${}^3$ LYSO scintillation crystal provided with the PETsys TOFPET2 ASIC Evaluation Kit.

An improved decision tree‐based method for evaluating transient overvoltage caused by commutation failure in LCC‐HVDC systems

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution, 2023
The commutation failure is the most prevalent fault in line‐commutated converter based high‐voltage direct current systems, which may result in transient overvoltage on the sending‐side system.

A novel active quenching circuit for single photon detection with Geiger mode avalanche photodiodes

open access: yes, 2008
In this paper we present a novel construction of an active quenching circuit intended for single photon detection. For purpose of evaluation, we have combined this circuit with a standard avalanche photodiode C30902S to form a single photon detector.

Analysis of the Electrochemical Stability of Sulfide Solid Electrolyte Dry Films for Improved Dry‐Processed Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An adapted processing for solvent‐free argyrodite solid electrolyte films based on insights into degradation mechanisms of the widely used binder polytetrafluoroethylene is presented. By adapting the dry film processing, long‐term cycling in Si||NMC pouch cells is demonstrated over more than 1000 cycles with a capacity retention of more than 80%, and ...

Tailored Redox‐Active Catholytes Enabling High‐Rate and High‐Loading All‐Solid‐State Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores iodine substitution in solid electrolytes to overcome sluggish redox kinetics and poor charge transport in all‐solid‐state Li‐S batteries. The resulting iodine‐rich, amorphous phase and superionic, nanocrystalline domains enable effective redox mediation and provide a robust ionic percolation network.
