Summary Cyanobacteria are major components of biofilms in light‐exposed environments, contributing to nutrient cycling, nitrogen fixation and global biogeochemical processes. Although nitrogen‐fixing cyanobacteria have been successfully used in biofertilization, the regulatory mechanisms underlying biofilm formation remain poorly understood.

Microbiome and Metaproteome of Craniofacial Implant Regions in Health and Disease
ABSTRACT Background Craniofacial defects from cancer surgery led to functional, aesthetic, and psychological challenges. Rehabilitation with craniofacial implants addresses these issues by improving prosthesis retention through osseointegration and providing predictable cosmetic results. However, maintaining a healthy transcutaneous region is essential

Summary OSW‐1 is a cholestane saponin uniquely produced in Ornithogalum saundersiae and exhibits a potential antitumor activity. The enzymes responsible for OSW‐1 biosynthesis in O. saundersiae, however, remain unclear. Herein, cholesterol was confirmed to be the precursor of OSW‐1 using stable‐isotope labeling method.

Summary The establishment of Nicotiana benthamiana as a robust biofactory is complicated by issues such as product toxicity and proteolytic degradation of target proteins/introduced enzymes. Here we investigate whether biomolecular condensates can be used to address these problems. We engineered biomolecular condensates in N.
