Light wavelength encodes distinct macrophage fates through mitochondrial and metabolic remodeling. Red 625 nm irradiation induces glycolysis, mitochondrial fission, and M1 polarization, whereas near‐infrared 850 nm irradiation promotes fatty acid oxidation, mitochondrial fusion, and M2 polarization.

Spatial orchestration of mitochondrial translation and OXPHOS complex assembly. [PDF]
Oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS) is vital for the regeneration of the vast majority of ATP in eukaryotic cells 1 . OXPHOS is carried out by large multi-subunit protein complexes in the cristae membranes, which are invaginations of the mitochondrial ...

Cancer vaccines face limitations in pancreatic cancer due to insufficient tumor antigens. This ionic liquid ILvax via local tumor delivery triggers robust cDC1‐dependent systemic anti‐tumor immunity. It boosts endogenous CD8+ T cells and optimizes adoptive TCR‐T function, providing a promising synergistic therapeutic strategy.

Copper-Induced Enhancement of Glioblastoma Tumorigenicity via Cytochrome C Oxidase
Copper is an essential trace element, yet chronic copper exposure can lead to toxicity in humans, and high levels of copper have been found in the blood or tumors of patients with various forms of cancer and may affect cancer severity and response to ...

Adipocyte Myoglobin Is a Determinant of Energy Expenditure and a Potential Target to Limit Obesity
Myoglobin, known as a muscle oxygen‐carrying protein, is shown to play a key role in fat cells that burn energy. Loss of myoglobin reduces the body's ability to generate heat and increases obesity risk, while restoring it improves metabolism. The study identifies myoglobin as a regulator of fat burning and a potential target to enhance energy ...

Tumor Ca2+ interference therapy suffers from self‐protective Ca2+ metabolic autoregulation. In this scenario, a versatile metal‐phenolic nanocluster (TCMH) is engineered to modulate mitochondrial calcium uniporter (MCU) ‐mediated mito‐Ca2+ metabolic autonomy.

Ovarian Cancer Diagnosis and Chemoresistance Prediction Model Based on cfRNA Molecular Signature
A deep learning model analyzes cfRNA profiles extracted from the blood of OVCA patients. This innovative approach distinguishes OVCA from healthy controls with high accuracy. Crucially, it reliably predicts patient response to chemotherapy (sensitive versus resistant subgroups).

Oxphos Targeting of Mycn -Amplified Neuroblastoma
Abstract Summary High risk - neuroblastoma (HR-NB) is a pediatric solid tumor with high lethality. Half of HR-NB are driven by MYCN gene amplification (MNA). These HR-NBs require high dosage chemotherapy and often relapse. Moreover, current
