Hyperbaric oxygen therapy as treatment of diabetic foot ulcers [PDF]
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) could be described as a short-term, high-dose oxygen inhalation and diffusion therapy, delivered systemically through airways and blood, achieved by having the patient breathing concentrated oxygen at a pressure higher ...

Long-Term High-Flow Nasal Cannula in Chronic Respiratory Failure in a Patient with Bronchiectasis
High-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) is a gas delivery system that provides heated and humidified air at higher flow rates than conventional oxygen therapy. While studies on the role of HFNC as a long-term treatment for chronic respiratory failure are limited,

Synchronization‐Dissipation in the Cardiorespiratory System
By modeling central nervous coupling and viscoelastic interactions in the cardiorespiratory system we show that synchronization produces a 10% gain in cardiac efficiency in humans. It is surmised that respiratory sinus arrhythmia improves cardiac pumping efficiency by reducing dynamic stress and power dissipation in the pulmonary vasculature.

Supramolecular Assembly of Stepped‐Persistent ROS Nanogenerator for Sustained Tumor Immunotherapy
ROS catalytic systems often fail to achieve both effective tumor elimination and persistent immune activation due to their monotonous ROS production profiles. A stepped‐persistent ROS nanogenerator was developed by supramolecularly assembling multiple ROS generation modules within a nanofiber structure to simultaneously extend ROS generation duration ...
