Parallel Implementation of Exact Matrix Computation Using Multiple P-adic Arithmetic [PDF]
A P-adic Exact Scientific Computational Library (ESCL) for rational matrix operations has been developed over the past few years. The effort has been focusing on converting all rational number operations to integer calculation, and fully taking advantage

Nonconvergence of the plain Newton-min algorithm for linear complementarity problems with a P-matrix [PDF]
The plain Newton-min algorithm to solve the linear complementarity problem (LCP for short) 0 ≤ x ⊥ (Mx+q) ≥ 0 can be viewed as a nonsmooth Newton algorithm without globalization technique to solve the system of piecewise linear equations min(x,Mx+q)=0, which is equivalent to the LCP.

Integrating ancestry, differential methylation analysis, and machine learning, we identified robust epigenetic signature genes (ESGs) and Core‐ESGs in Black and White women with endometrial cancer. Core‐ESGs (namely APOBEC1 and PLEKHG5) methylation levels were significantly associated with survival, with tumors from high African ancestry (THA) showing ...

There is an unmet need in metastatic breast cancer patients to monitor therapy response in real time. In this study, we show how a noninvasive and affordable strategy based on sequencing of plasma samples with longitudinal tracking of tumour fraction paired with a statistical model provides valuable information on treatment response in advance of the ...

Adaptive voting computer system [PDF]
A computer system is reported that uses adaptive voting to tolerate failures and operates in a fail-operational, fail-safe manner. Each of four computers is individually connected to one of four external input/output (I/O) busses which interface with ...

A novel approach to establishing uniqueness of solutions in linear complementarity problems
Linear complementarity problems are fundamental in various mathematical fields, and it is widely recognized that these problems have a unique solution if and only if the matrix related to them is a P-matrix.

Compact matrix operators on a new sequence space related to ℓ p $\ell_{p}$ spaces
In this paper, we derive some identities or estimates for the operator norms and the Hausdorff measures of noncompactness of certain matrix operators on the sequence space ℓ p ( r , s , t ; B ( m ) ) $\ell_{p}(r,s,t;B^{(m)})$ which is related to ℓ p ...

This study used longitudinal transcriptomics and gene‐pattern classification to uncover patient‐specific mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in breast cancer. Findings reveal preexisting drug‐tolerant states in primary tumors and diverse gene rewiring patterns across patients, converging on a few dysregulated functional modules. Despite receiving the

This study develops a semi‐supervised classifier integrating multi‐genomic data (1404 training/5893 validation samples) to improve homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) detection in breast cancer. Our method demonstrates prognostic value and predicts chemotherapy/PARP inhibitor sensitivity in HRD+ tumours.

This study investigates gene expression differences between two major pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) subtypes, B‐cell precursor ALL, and T‐cell ALL, using a data‐driven approach consisting of biostatistics and machine learning methods. Following analysis of a discovery dataset, we find a set of 14 expression markers differentiating the ...
