Galactose Oxidase from Fusarium oxysporum - Expression in E. coli and P. pastoris and Biochemical Characterization

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2014
A gene coding for galactose 6-oxidase from Fusarium oxysporum G12 was cloned together with its native preprosequence and a C-terminal His-tag, and successfully expressed both in Escherichia coli and Pichia pastoris. The enzyme was subsequently purified and characterized.

P. pastoris Surface Display Service

open access: yes
The most used yeast is P. pastoris which can reach a much higher cell density than S. cerevisiae in fermentation, as well as can be utilized for preparation of recombinant protein. In order to achieve the high expression of surface display in P. pastoris, a new cell surface display system has been established.

Identification and characterization of calcium and manganese transporting ATPase (PMR1) gene of Pichia pastoris

open access: yes, 2006
A gene homologous to Saccharomyces cerevisiae PMR1 has been cloned in the methylotrophic yeast Pichia pastoris. The entire P. pastoris PMR1 gene (PpPMR1) codes a protein of 924 amino acids.

Expression of the recombinant xylose reductase on the surface of the yeast cell P. pastoris [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
