Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Discovery of a peptide proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) drug of p300 for prostate cancer therapyResearch in context

open access: yesEBioMedicine
Summary: Background: The E1A-associated protein p300 (p300) has emerged as a promising target for cancer therapy due to its crucial role in promoting oncogenic signaling pathways in various cancers, including prostate cancer.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Síndrome da apneia obstrutiva do sono e o potencial auditivo P300 Obstructive sleep apnea and P300 evoked auditory potential

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Otorhinolaryngology, 2011
A Síndrome da Apneia Obstrutiva do Sono (SAOS) diminui as capacidades da atenção, memória e concentração, fatores relacionados com a cognição. A análise dos parâmetros do P300 auditivo permitiria inferir disfunção cognitiva.

Histone acetyltransferases CBP/p300 in tumorigenesis and CBP/p300 inhibitors as promising novel anticancer agents

open access: yes, 2022
The histone acetyltransferases CBP and p300, often referred to as CBP/p300 due to their sequence homology and functional overlap and co-operation, are emerging as critical drivers of oncogenesis in the past several years.

LC3B Mediated SETDB1‐Accounted Alcoholic Steatohepatitis via Lipidation‐Dependent LAP and Lipidation‐Independent Nuclear Stabilization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SETDB1 is progressively downregulated in ALD, correlating with disease severity. SETDB1 deficiency impairs LAP by disrupting Rubicon membrane localization, leading to defective lipid droplet clearance. Concurrently, loss of SETDB1 reduces nuclear LC3B, causing R‐loop accumulation and cGAS‐STING‐driven inflammation. Lipidated LC3B mediates LAP‐dependent

Enhanced Glycolysis‐Driven Histone H3K18 Lactylation Regulates Epileptogenesis by Modulating the E3 Ubiquitin Ligase COP1

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Neuronal PKM2‐driven glycolysis generates excess lactate that triggers histone H3K18 lactylation (H3K18la), establishing a pathogenic metabolic‐epigenetic axis in epilepsy. Elevated H3K18la enriches the Cop1 promoter, transcriptionally upregulating the E3 ubiquitin ligase COP1, which subsequently drives proteasomal degradation of GABAARβ2 and impairs ...

P300 Component Modulation During a Go/Nogo Task in Healthy Children

open access: yesBasic and Clinical Neuroscience, 2010
Introduction: Several differences in the P300 component are observed when responses must be executed or inhibited in the Go/Nogo task. However, few studies were established by using well-controlled task with respect to the preparatory processing and ...

Loss of p300 in proximal tubular cells reduces renal fibrosis and endothelial-mesenchymal transition

open access: yesEMBO Molecular Medicine
Chronic kidney disease (CKD) has a high prevalence worldwide and is typically accompanied by severe fibrosis. However, the exact pathogenesis of renal fibrosis and effective treatments have yet to be identified. In this study, we found that expression of
