Paeonol Improves Cardiac Remodelling in MI Mice by Suppressing NOX2 mRNA Expression to Mitigate Oxidative Stress and Mitochondrial Dysfunction. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Myocardial infarction (MI), a primary contributor to mortality from cardiovascular diseases, continues to pose a significant challenge in clinical treatment. In this study, our objective was to investigate the cardioprotective effects of paeonol (PAE) on mice with MI, and to delve into the precise mechanisms underlying these effects.

Modulating Effect of Paeonol on Piglets With Ulcerative Colitis
Piglet enteritis is a major problem that needs to be solved urgently in modern pig production. Paeonol (Pae) has been used as a novel treatment option due to its good medicinal value. This study purported to elucidate the regulatory mechanism of Pae on dextran sodium sulfate (DSS)-induced ulcerative colitis (UC) in weaned piglets.

Copper‐paeonol nanozymes target tumor‐specific reactive oxygen species generation and disrupt fascin‐mediated actin bundling, effectively suppressing tumor growth and metastatic colonization. Abstract Fascin, an actin‐bundling protein universally upregulated in metastatic tumors, drives tumor migration and invasion by promoting filopodia and ...

Involvement of MAPKs in ICAM-1 Expression in Glomerular Endothelial Cells in Diabetic Nephropathy [PDF]
Inflammatory processes are involved in the pathogenesis of diabetic nephropathy. The aim of this study was to clarify the role of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathways for induction of intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) expression in ...

This study elucidates the mechanism by which heat stress regulates skin pigmentation: heat stress upregulates CX3CL1 through the MYC‐WDR5‐H3K4me3 axis, thereby activating the CX3CL1/CX3CR1‐JNK signaling pathway and ultimately promoting melanogenesis. These findings provide novel potential therapeutic targets for pigmentary skin disorders.

ABSTRACT Objective This study explores how Kaempferol (KAE) protects against oxidative stress‐induced damage by suppressing ferroptosis via the Nrf2/GPX4 axis in gastric mucosal cells. Methods Human gastric epithelial cells (GES‐1) were treated with H₂O₂ to induce oxidative damage, following pretreatment with varying doses of KAE.
