Extracellular Vesicle‐Packaged circTAX1BP1 from Cancer‐Associated Fibroblasts Regulates RNA m6A Modification through Lactylation of VIRMA in Colorectal Cancer Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that CAFs‐derived EVs enriched with circTAX1BP1 drive CRLM by promoting VIRMA lactylation and SP1/TGF‐β signaling, creating a positive feedback loop via ITGA11+ myCAFs. Targeting EV‐circTAX1BP1 and TGF‐β disrupts this loop, offering a novel therapeutic strategy for CRLM.

Lactobacillus Salivarius‐Derived Indole‐3‐Acetic Acid Promotes AHR‐PARP1 Axis‐Mediated DNA Repair to Mitigate Intestinal Aging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Indole‐3‐acetic acid (IAA) acting as one of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) endogenous ligands is identified to be derived from Lactobacillus salivarius via its catalytic enzyme (ALDH) rather than host cells. Lactobacillus salivarius and IAA supplementation effectively mitigate intestinal aging by facilitating AHR‐poly (ADP‐ribose) polymerase 1 ...

Patterns of Recurrence After Resection of Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma: A Secondary Analysis of the ESPAC-4 Randomized Adjuvant Chemotherapy Trial.

open access: yesJAMA Surgery, 2019
Importance The patterns of disease recurrence after resection of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma with adjuvant chemotherapy remain unclear. Objective To define patterns of recurrence after adjuvant chemotherapy and the association with survival ...

Magnetoelectric Nanotherapy Achieves Complete Tumor Ablation and Prolonged Survival in Pancreatic Cancer Murine Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Magnetoelectric nanoparticles (MENPs) serve as externally controlled, MRI‐activated theranostic agents for targeted cancer therapy by inducing electric field‐based ablation in solid tumors. MENPs enable simultaneous precise tumor ablation and MRI signal modulation, allowing real‐time treatment monitoring and prediction of therapeutic outcomes with no ...

Mechanism of Lenvatinib Resistance via Exosomal miRNA‐132/Nrf2 Axis in Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
Exosomal miRNA‐132 from LVT‐res HCC cells activated Nrf2 expression through the PTEN/GSK3β pathway in recipient cells. This cascade could induce drug resistance in non‐resistant HCC cells in the TME. ABSTRACT Introduction Lenvatinib is a multiple receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor and a first‐line targeted therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC ...

Novel machine‐learning model for predicting lymph node metastasis in resectable pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery
Aim Lymph node metastasis is an adverse prognostic factor in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. However, it remains a challenge to predict lymph node metastasis using preoperative imaging alone.

Outcomes of Resected Cases of Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma Patients With Unexpected Postoperative Uncovering Noncurative Factors: A Multicenter Retrospective Study

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
We aimed to refine treatment strategies for resected cases of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma in patients with unexpectedly uncovered postoperative noncurative factors. Cases with unexpected postoperative uncovering noncurative factors had significantly poorer prognoses than those without such factors.
